We are safely back from our travels to Asia. The 30 hours of travel there and back went surprisingly well but we are SO glad to be back in the comfort of our own home. Elle hit several developmental milestones while we were gone.....we like to think that being 12 hours ahead in time helped move things along:) Elle's first two teeth have come in and she is pulling herself up and crawling all over the place.
Thailand is a beautiful country as is its people. The weather was perfect.....wish we could say the same about the food. We stayed about 90km south of Bangkok and were able to sight see in Bangkok for 1 day. The city was amazing.
From Thailand we flew to Hong Kong for 2 days. What an awesome city with massive skyscrapers. Like nothing we've ever seen.
We went to a place called the "Peak" where we could see a "bird's eye" view of Hong Kong. As you can see it was quite windy and Elle enjoyed sticking her tongue out to catch the breeze.
We were really surprised both in Bangkok and Hong Kong that there seemed to be Golden Arches and a Starbucks on every corner.
